Abstract

Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS) are demyelinating diseases affecting the central nervous system and peripheral nervous system, respectively. Both disorders share common immunopathogenic mechanisms, genetic predispositions, and environmental risk factors. The co-occurrence of MS and GBS, although rare, has been reported in the literature, suggesting a possible link between these conditions. Here, we present a case of a 48-year-old female who initially developed MS, followed by GBS, and provide a review of relevant literature.
