The survey covering cities and regions was conducted in economic regions such as Baku, Absheron, Ganja-Gazakh, Lankaran, Upper Karabakh, Central Aran, Gorny Shirvan and Guba- Khachmaz, where the Red Crescent Society operates. The Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and the occupied regions were not included in the survey. At the same time, the survey involved the ethnic Azeri population of the occupied regions. The survey involved respondents over 16 years old. In order to involve children under the age of 18 in the study, the consent of their parents was first obtained. Thus, the results of studies carried out in the first months of the COVID-19 pandemic show that it is necessary to raise public awareness of the rules for using protective equipment, proper hand washing, and the benefits of social distance. Supporting relevant agencies to provide these supplies at no cost will help reduce the incidence of disease in the population.
