Effectiveness of the Application of Physical Factors in Patients with A Vertebrogenic Radicular Pain Syndrome

Clinical bases of the combined use of interference current therapy and spine traction in the complex treatment of patients with vertebrogenic radicular pain were studied. The examination was performed in 97 patients of age from 22 to 69. Patients were divided into three groups. The first group included 33 patients who received interferential current therapy as a treatment. The second group included 32 patients who received spine traction, and the third group 32 patients who have both interferential current therapy and spine traction on the same day. The courses consisted of 10- 12 procedures. The patients were studied by clinical tests and scales. The beneficial effect of this therapeutic complex on the clinical course of the disease, more pronounced analgesic effect and regression of clinical manifestations, as well as improvement of quality of life indicators, were proved.
