The findings of this study highlight focal symptomatic epilepsy as the most prevalent form of epilepsy, with a predominant localization in the temporal lobe. In contrast, generalized epilepsy, focal idiopathic epilepsy, and unspecified epilepsy were observed at significantly lower frequencies. These results provide a robust foundation for developing strategic plans for the treatment of epilepsy and identifying future research priorities. Furthermore, the findings underscore the critical need for large-scale, multidisciplinary investigations aimed at discovering more effective therapeutic approaches for epilepsy management.
