Abstract

In this article we analyzed the results of the study of 72 patients (84 eyes) with optic neuritis on background of multiple sclerosis. Abnormal signs in visual evoked potential found in almost all patients 87%. At the same time, 74% were significant changes in the stem auditory evoked potential, although the hearing any of these patients identified at otoneurological survey was not. 57% were identified as changes in the somatosensory evoked potential without any indication of violation sensitivity. These data demonstrate the importance of the method of multimodal evoked potential in determining the anatomic level of destruction of the conducting paths, reflect varying degrees of violations of the pulse depending on the stage of activity and types of the course of multiple sclerosis and, accordingly, severity of neurological disorders.
