Abstract

The article is devoted to protective role of cholesterol in the conditions of stress. It is discussed that atherosclerosis has social or economic reasons and not cholesteric. The article gives information on considerable steps forward in understanding of mechanisms of stress and their consequences on an organism. The importance of culture of healthy nutrition and control of a way of life especially in a stressful situation is shown.
