Polymorphism of Clinical Picture of Progressive Course of Ischemic Stroke

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to study the influence of the stenosis and occlusive process on the developing of ischemic stroke and the features of their clinical course. We examined 633 patients at the age of 45-74 years (average age 61 years). At 578 patients blood pressure was high at primary measurement. At 219 (92.4%) from 237 died patients macroscopically on the healthy part were revealed stenos and occlusive processes causing chronic ischemia and brain infarct (BI). The specified pathologies and anomalies of vessels in "a «healthy" hemisphere are revealed in 198 (83.5%) cases, i.e. in relation to the struck hemisphere 5 times is more often. Therefore neurological syndromes are not always stacked in frameworks of habitual, classical currents of BI, i.e. polymorphism and stroke progressing up to heavy loss functions and lethal outcome were observed.
