Abstract

A clinical study of the efficacy and tolerability of the drug “Muscomed” in the complex treatment of 60 patients with muscular-tonic syndromes caused by osteochondrosis of various parts of the spine was carried out. In the control group (n = 30), conventional drug therapy (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, therapy with vitamins, physiotherapy, massage) was performed, as well as intramuscular injection of muscle relaxant “Muscomed” in a dosage of 2 ml for 6 days. In the main group (n = 30), along with the aforementioned complex of treatment for patients, an external application of 0.25% cream of “Muscomed” was proposed for the entire treatment period. As a result of the treatment, the effectiveness and tolerability of “Muscomed” was more pronounced in patients in the main group.
