Abstract

Novadays, the standard of modern elimination of pain in idiopathic neuralgia of the trigeminal nerve is the microvascular decompression of trigeminal nerve root. The method is based on the principle of eliminating the "conflict" between the cranial nerve root, which exits the brainstem, and the vessel adjacent to it. This method is one of the safest and most effective methods of surgical treatment.
