Abstract

Diastematomyelia is a congenital anomaly of the vertebral canal and spinal cord, characterized by the separation of the spinal cord or "horse's tail" over several vertebrae associated with the bone or fibrous septum. The proposed article discusses the clinical case of spinocerebellar ataxia with diastematomyelia syndrome.
