New Methods of Treatment and Rehabilitation of Vertebragenous Diseases of The Nervous System (Based on The Materials of RI of Medical Rehabilitation)

The given work presents the key summary of the targeted researches carried out during the last 10 years in the field of treatment and rehabilitation of patients suffering from neurological development of osteochondrosis of lumbar vertebra, also patients who underwent surgical operation of discal hernia. The clinical and neurophysiological studies were conducted on the patients who received cryotherapy (106 patients) and electrical stimulation (130 patients) together with naphthalan therapy. It has been established, that the use of cryotherapy and naphthalan therapy in the complex treatment of vertebrogenic diseases of the nervous system contributes to more rapid regress of pain and restoration of the dynamics of vertebra, improvement of the state of peripheral neuromotor system. The use of electrical stimulation in combination with naphthalan therapy in the patients who underwent surgical operation of discal hernia along with the abovementioned benefits will also contribute to the improvement of the trophism of tissues, restoration of motor and sensor disorders and improve life quality of patients.
