The Modern Characteristics of Primary Incidences of Stroke in The Population of Baku City

The purpose of the study: To study the modern characteristics of primary incidences of stroke among population in Baku city. Materials and methods of the study. The materials from outpatient clinics and inpatient institutions in Baku for 2022 year were used for the study. The information about all incidences of stroke among people aged 20 years and more was collected. The frequency of primary morbidity cases among population by age-gender groups was detected. The achieved results. The rate of primary morbidity of stroke among people aged 20 years and more was 122.590⁄0000, the clearly expressed differences between indicators among men and women was revealed (131.37 and 101.220⁄0000). The lowest morbidity rate was among people aged 20-24 years (3.940⁄0000), and the highest – at ages 70 years and more (533.230⁄0000). Conclusions. Primary morbidity of stroke among population depends on age and gender. The significant increasing temp of morbidity rate is seen among 35 years old men and 35 years old women. The average age of patients with primary stroke case was 63.25 years among men and 66.78 years among women.
