Peer Review Policy
The journal uses a peer review process to maintain the scientific quality and credibility of the articles it publishes. Peer review is an important part of academic publishing, as it allows independent experts to evaluate submitted manuscripts and provide constructive feedback before publication.
Review Model
The journal follows a double-blind peer review procedure. In this system, the identities of both the authors and the reviewers are kept confidential during the review process. This approach helps ensure that manuscripts are evaluated fairly and without bias.
Initial Editorial Screening
Once a manuscript is submitted, it is first examined by the editorial office. At this stage, the editors check whether the submission fits the aims and scope of the journal and whether it meets basic academic and formatting requirements. The manuscript may also be screened for text similarity using Turnitin.
Submissions that clearly fall outside the scope of the journal or do not meet the necessary standards may be declined before being sent to reviewers.
External Review
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are forwarded to independent specialists in the relevant research area. In most cases, at least two reviewers are invited to evaluate the submission. Reviewers are selected based on their academic expertise and experience related to the topic of the manuscript.
Reviewers are asked to assess the scientific quality of the work and provide comments that may help improve the clarity and accuracy of the manuscript.
Evaluation Criteria
When reviewing a manuscript, reviewers generally consider several aspects, including:
- originality and relevance of the research
- methodological soundness
- clarity and organization of the manuscript
- contribution to the existing literature
- appropriateness of references and citations
- compliance with ethical standards
Based on their evaluation, reviewers may recommend acceptance, revision, or rejection of the manuscript.
Editorial Decision
The final decision regarding publication is made by the Editor-in-Chief or the editorial board after considering the reviewers’ reports. Authors receive the reviewers’ comments along with the editorial decision. If revisions are requested, authors are expected to respond to the comments and submit a revised version of their manuscript.
Confidentiality
Manuscripts submitted to the journal are treated as confidential documents. Reviewers are expected not to share or use any information from the manuscript for personal purposes before its publication.
Ethical Considerations
Reviewers should inform the editorial office if they believe they have a conflict of interest related to the manuscript. In such cases, they are expected to decline the review invitation.
The journal aims to conduct the peer review process in a fair, objective, and timely manner to support the dissemination of reliable scholarly research.
